I am planning to wear red shoes for my wedding. Like the same red as my bridesmaids. I think it will be super cute. Only problem, I cannot find any I like that are cute but do not have super high heels. Well, I can but they are entirely out of my price range. Like these.
Hello beautiful Kate Spade shoes. Why do you have to be almost $300????? That is definitely way out of my shoe budget.
These are a little more in my price range, they're like $80. But remember that part about my being cheap. Yeah, I don't believe in paying that much for shoes. I'm sorry, not even for my wedding.
So the quest continues.

larangytis and dress shopping
I have no voice. Haven't since Monday. Ug. I googled it. So instead of going to the doctor, I'm diagnosing myself via the internet. Clever, huh. I think it's allergy related. Hopefully. I'm doing all the home remedy-ish things it suggested so hopefully that and the fact I'm seriously avoiding talking at all will help it come back soon.
I'm going dress shopping this weekend. Ah!!!!!!!!! So excited. My mom and Todd's mom are coming up to go with me. So it should be fun. It also means I've been super cleaning my house. Right now it's looking pretty good. I would be done if I didn't keep getting distracted looking at wedding stuff online.
I made a sample of my tissue paper pom pom to see if I actually liked it. We totally have a winner! It took like no time at all and will be so much cheaper than my original decorating idea for the reception. So I'm just buying tissue paper when I go to the store each time. I would post a picture but I'm far too lazy at this point. It looks so good though!
There is still so much to do though. We're going to see the cake/flower lady in a couple of weeks. We still need to pick a preacher and a menu. Arg!

planning
Okay. Planning is one of my favorite things. I mean really favorite. Now that I am planning a wedding I am absolutely in heaven. I am soooo excited about getting married. I am also excited about the awesomeness of planning. I really love it when planning allows me to be super thrifty and crafty.
Right now I am doing the Save the Date cards. We decided to do magnets. I decided I could just make them myself. (Hello awesome craftiness!) So after many hours at the computer we have Save the Date magnets that are very slowly printing. Almost time to cut and assemble them! Hooray!
Today I went to Michael's to find some removable double side tape (or something like that) to put the magnets into the actual cards. You know, you can never just go straight in and get what you're looking for at a craft store. You have to see what other cool things they have. And I found these:
But I'm cheap. And the tissue flower kits were not cheap. But c'mon it's tissue paper, it should not be expensive. So I came home and googled it. Martha Stewart had directions. I can totally make them myself and for so much cheaper.

Save the Date card
Plus magnets (Sam's Club)
Plus Printer
Equals fabulous Save the Date cards!
